Your Jungle Straws come complete with a bamboo straw cleaning brush. To clean, use warm soapy water and gently push and pull the cleaning brush through the straw to remove any excess liquids. Alternatively, pop your eco straws in the dishwasher. Jungle Straws are fully dishwasher safe.
Jungle Straws are produced at a single, family-run farm in Northern Vietnam. The farmers only employ friends and family and treat their workers fairly and with respect.
From start to finish your bamboo straws are 100% organic, chemical-free and natural. Our farmers only use fresh water and Vietnamese sunlight to create your eco straws.

Jungle Straws all include a straw cleaning brush. However, if you need an extra one then we you can buy them right here. We have two cleaning brushes to choose from.
Nylon bristles: Standard metal cleaning brush with nylon bristles Coconut fibre bristles: Eco friendly cleaning brush made from coconut fibres Grass fibre bristles: Natural pipe cleaner made from a type of grass, grown in Asia.
Our brushes should be washed under warm water with soap.
We have a passion for creating beautiful, useful products that can help to create and speed up change. Our coconut brushes are a more eco-friendly alternative to standard nylon bristled brushes.
We have been working with our farm in Vietnam to find an eco-friendly cleaning brush for straws. Coconut fibre bristles work really well and clean fantastically and we hope to switch completely to coco brushes once we have gathered enough feedback.

Our "Jungle Pouches" are hand sewn and made of natural jute. They are coloured using eco-friendly vegetable dye and they're the perfect width for two straws and a cleaning brush.

It took a while to find our feet and language barriers proved a difficult issue but we were eventually introduced to some farmers and after sharing a bowl of noodles we went to see their production.
The farm we work with is very humble and run by a single family that has owned the land for generations. They grow the bamboo using only water and sun and process everything by hand. The boom in demand for bamboo straws has given a much needed boost to this sleepy village in rural Vietnam and we are proud to say that we have worked with the same farmers since Jungle Straws started and we now call them our friends.
