Just like our coconut bowls and coconut shell candles, Jungle Culture’s coconut tea light holders are sourced in the ‘Kingdom of Coconuts’, formerly known as Bên Tre, Vietnam.
The region of Bên Tre is naturally irrigated by a system of canals and waterways that zig and zag inland from the South China Sea, meaning that our coconut products do not require much additional water in order for them to grow.
Over 80% of coconuts farmed in the region are harvested for their milks, oils and meats, which are processed before being sold to buyers from the beauty industry. The remaining 20% of coconuts are sold at markets around Asia.
Once coconut shells have been emptied of their milks, oils and meats, farmers would traditionally burn them in order to make way for next year’s harvest.
That’s where we come in! Jungle Culture purchases discarded coconut shells and transports them to a local crafts village for carving. Allowing both the farmers and local craftspeople to enjoy an unexpected economic boost!

Our reusable bamboo straws are handmade using sustainably sourced bamboo, grown in Northern Vietnam and engraved in the UK. Our custom bamboo straws are not only a simple and cost-effective solution to plastic straws, they are also infinitely reusable, vegan-friendly and 100% organic.

Once you place an order with us, our friendly team will reach out within 1 working day to show you a prototype. You can either approve the design and we’ll get started on your full order, or you can change the design as many times as you’d like until we make a custom straw that perfectly represents your brand.

If you’re ordering reusable bamboo straws for your business, you simply need to fill out the form above, inputting your custom branded information.
We can engrave any font from Google, Microsoft or Adobe. If your font is a paid font or custom made, please get in touch with us via our contact form and send us the font file.
Best practices: Bamboo straws are thin and the engraving space is relatively small, so for best results use a linear logo design or text. We also recommend no more than 4-5 words, but we can engrave more if you’d like.
Once we receive your order, we’ll make a sample for you within 1 working day and send a photo for your approval. If you approve the design then we’ll start on your order and we aim to finish all orders within 5 working days.
If you would like to make changes to the design, just let us know and we’ll keep making prototypes until you are completely satisfied. If you are unsure whether your design will be suitable for engraving on a reusable straw, send us the design and we’ll test it for you.
Our personalised bamboo straws can last a lifetime without ever needing to be replaced if taken care of properly. To prolong the lifespan of our custom bamboo straws, we recommend not leaving to soak for too long and hand washing, using one of our straw cleaning brushes.
Our straws are dishwasher safe, but exposure to high temperatures will damage them over time.
For business use, we recommend changing your straws every 6 months. Our bamboo straws are compostable and recyclable and can be thrown into recycling bins or green waste bins.
Jungle straws was formed in 2018 when we partnered with a family-run Vietnamese bamboo farm and created our first pack of bamboo straws. We still source all of our bamboo straws from that same farm in Northern Vietnam and 100% of our reusable custom straws are organic and sustainably farmed.

Heavy duty scouring pad: Our natural sponges are dual sided. If you’re washing pots and pans, simply flip your sponge over to the sisal side for a heavy duty scrubber! When dishwashing delicate glassware, the cellulose side is best for dishes.

Your coconut bowls come from the Bên Tre region in Southern Vietnam. An area famed for the quality of it’s coconuts.
For many years the local farmers have made a modest income from selling coconut by-products such as coconut oils and coconut milks. Once the products were harvested the coconut shells and trees were seen as waste and burned to make way for the new crops.
By using coconut bowls you are helping to provide the local farmers with a secondary income, as well as preventing more coconuts and trees being needlessly burned.
Once the coconut shell bowls have been harvested they are hand carved by talented craftsmen to create a selection of stunning patterns. Organic, eco-friendly & sustainable.

Our coconut bowls come from the Bên Tre region in Southern Vietnam. In Vietnam this region is famed for it's coconut farms and for years local farmers have made a living by harvesting coconuts for their milks, oils and other by-products.
This however meant that the coconut shells were considered waste, and along with the trees they were burned every year to make room for new trees and new coconuts to grow. Coconut bowls and spoons have allowed local farmers to earn an extra, well-needed income and with etched bowls local craftsmen are also able to benefit. Buying coconut bowls also ensures that less trees and less coconuts are burned.

Our bamboo bowls are incredibly sturdy and durable and do not require much attention to keep them in good condition. Follow these instructions and your bowls will last a lifetime:
- Do not place your bamboo bowls in the dishwasher, microwave or freezer. - Do not leave your bamboo bowls to soak in water for more than 10 minutes. - Do not use your bamboo bowls for hot liquid foods such as soup, porridge or curry.
Your bamboo bowls are handmade using bamboo ethically sourced in Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam! The bamboo is farmed in small batches by two family-run farms and transported to our workshop for processing!
Once we receive the bamboo it is broken down into fibres where it can be spun tightly together to form a solid bowl!
We then use a water based lacquer to paint the outside of our bamboo bowls, creating the beautiful terrazzo pattern that you see on your screens!
All of our bamboo is naturally grown using traditional Vietnamese farming methods, it is picked and processed using only basic tools and a lot of skilled hands!
